AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of Theodore Crunsten
for a Variation from. the Side and Rear
Yard Regulations of the Evanston Zoning
Ordinance, Adopted November 21, 1960.
BE IT ORDAINED BY'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILL.INOIS:
SECTION 1: `What a variation from the side and
rear yard regulations of the Evanstor
Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, so far as said
regulations pertain to the property at 2759 Ridge .Avenue in the
City of Evanston# and legally described as w
That part of Lot 20 in Rigby's Sheridan,Read
Addition to Evanston, being a subdivision of part
of Lot 23 in George Smith's subdivision of the
south part of Archange Wilmette Reservation,
bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a
point on the west line of said Lot 20, 50 feet and
V8 inches south of the northwest corner of said
Lot 20; thence oastarly 108 feat and 104 inches to
a point 50 feet south of the north line of Lot 20;
thence southerly 55 feet and I inch to a point on the
southerly line of said Lot 20, 1.10 feet and 3 inches
from the southwest corner of said Lot 20; thence
westarl,y on the south line of said Lot 20 to the
westerly line thereof; thence northerly along the
westerly line of said Lot 20, 55 feet and 1-1/8
inches to the place of beginning;
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit the
rebuilding of the back portion of the house and an open carport
on the property located at 2759 Ridge Avenue_, Evanston, lilinoit#
subject to the following conditions:
(1) that permits shall be obtained from the Building
Department for all construction; and
(2) that the new construction shall be subject to
inspection and approval by the Building Depart-
ment of the City of Evanston,
all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board
of Appeals.

SECTION 2: The Director of Building 1s ordered
and directed to grant permits to
Theodore Grunsten in accordance with the findings and recommenda--
tions of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall. be In full force
and effect from and after its passage
and approval In the manner provided by law.
