AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of Harris Trust &
Savings Bank# as Trustee under Trust
No. 31308, Benjamin L. Kaplan, Bene-
ficiary, for a Variation From the Lot
Area regulations of the Evanston Zoning
Ordinance, Adopted November 21, 1960.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1; That a variation from the lot area
regulations of the Evanston Zoning
Ordinance, adopted November 21., 1960, so far as said regulations

pertain to the property in the City of Evanston# located at
1316 Maple Avenue, and legally described as
That part of Block 42 commending at a point in the
East line of said Block, 180 feet North of Dempster
Street; thence manning North along the East line of
said Block# 70 feet; thence Nest on a line parallel
P with the South Line of said Block (being the North
line of Dempster .Street) 200 feet to an alley,
thence South along the East line of said alley, 70
feet; thence East 200 feat to the place of beginning
In Evanston, being a subdivision in the Southwest
quarter of Section 18t Township 41 North, Ranee 140
East of the Third Principal. Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois,
Is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit the reten-
tion of the 20th dwelling unit on the property at 1316 Maple
Avenue, subject to the following conditions;
(1) that the occupancy of the subject dwelling
unit shall, be listed to one person;
(2) that the applicant maintain a written nrovabl.e
lease of certain adjacent property which is
approximately the area 28 feet to the north
of the 1316 Maple Avenue building, theta pro-
ceod.ing eastward to the Maple Avenue sidewalk; and
(3) that a -covenant of agreement to the above con-
ditions shall be submitted in recordable form
by the appellants,
all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board
of Appeals.

SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and
Permits is ordered and directed to
grant such perini.ts or certificate of occupancy as shall be

required to effectuate the re�,ommehdation of the Zoning Board
of Appeals# and the variation granted thereunder.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its
paasage and approval in the manner provided by law.
