HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1971-033-O-71• Amended 4-12-71 " 5- 3-71 33-0-71 AN ORDINANCE Granting the Appeal of Ford Invest- ment Corporation of the United States for a Variation from the Off -Street Parking Regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance,Adopted November 21, 1960 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS% `? 0 3 SECTION 1: That a variation from the off-street parking regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, so far as said regulations pertain to the property at 1027 Dodge Avenue, in the City of Evanston, and legally described as - Lot 19 in Block 3 in Pi.tnerls Second Addition to Evanston, in the East half of Section 24, Town- ship 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Princi- pal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois, is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit the con- tinued use of the eight (8) dwelling units without providing two (2) additional parking spaces or screening on the south side of the existing parking area, subject to the following conditions (1) that relief from the screening requirements shall terminate upon separation of the com- mon ovinership of the subject property and the lot adjacent to the south; (2) that the existing parking spaces shall be used solely for the parking of passenger vehicles; (3) that a four (4) foot high screening hedge or fence shall be installed parallel to the rear building line between the private walk and the north lot line; • (4) that two parking spaces shall be leased within 500 feet of the subject property - lease arrange- ments to be subject to the approval of the Corporation Counsel.; and (5) that a covenant of agreement to the above con- ditions shall be submitted in recordable form by the appellant, all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Hoard of Appeals, and the City Council of the City of Evanston. • I SECTION 2s Th* Ulrector of Inspections and permits Is ordered any: directed to grant such permits as shall be .required to effectuate the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeels, a And the variation grajitod 4hexeunder.
