ICC BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That Article II, Section 15-7, of the Code of the City of Evanston, 1957, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended so that the same shall be and hereafter read as follows: SECOND WARD: All that part of the city bounded and described as follows: Commencing at a • point being the west city limits and the center line of Church Street; thence east along said center line of Church Street to the center line of the right-of- way of the Mayfair Division of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company; thence northeasterly along the center line of said right-of-way to the center line of Emerson Street;thence east along said center line of Emerson Street to the center line of the right-of-way of the Milwaukee Division of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company; thence southerly along said center line of said right-of-way to the center line of Dempster Street; thence west along said center line of Dempster Street to the west city limits; thence north along said city limits to the point of beginning. FIFTH WARD: All that part of the city bounded and described as follows: Commencing at a point being the west city limits and the center line of Church Street; thence east along said center line of Church Street to the center line of the right-of- way of the Mayfair Division of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company; thence northerly along the center line of said right-of-way to the center line of Emerson Street; thence east along said center line of Emerson Street to the center line of the right -of - was of the Milwaukee Division of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company; thence southerly along said right-of-way to the center line of Church Street; thence east along the center line of Church Street to Sherman Avenue; thence north along the center line of Sherman Avenue to the center line of Noyes Street; thence west along the center line of Noyes Street to the center line of Green Bay Road; thence northwesterly along the center line of Green Bay Road to the center line of the North Shore Channel of the Metropolitan Sanitary District; thence southwesterly along said center line to its intersection with the west city limits and the same produced north; thence south along said west city limits to the point of beginning. 1st Precinct: All that part of the Fifth Ward lying east of the center line of the right- of-way of the Milwaukee Division of the Chicago and • North Western Railway Company and south and west of a line described as follows: Commencing at a point being the center line of the right-of-way of the Mil- waukee Division of the Chicago and North Western Rail- way Company and the center line of Leon Place and the same produced west; thence east along the center line of Leon Place and the same produced west to the center line of Ridge Avenue; thence southerly along said center line of Ridge Avenue to the center line of Foster Street; thence east along the center line of Foster Street to the center line of Maple Avenue; thence south along said center line of Maple Avenue to the center line of Church Street at its intersection with the center line of the right-of-way of the Mil- waukee Division of the Chicago and North Western Rail- way Company; thence northwesterly along said right-of- way to the point of beginhing.- SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. -2- • I(; 7 • • 0 SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
