Adams, Jr. and Delores E: Adams for a Variation from the Use Regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance tb Permit the Establishment of A Pool Hall. WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the City Council grant the appeal of `Samuel H. Adams, Jr., and Delores E. Adams for a variation from the use provisions of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, as amended, for the purpose of establishing a pool hall on the property, located at 1817 Church Street, a B1 Business District. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That a variation from the use regulations of.the Evanston Zoning Ordinance,, adopted November 21, 1960, as amended, insofar as said regulations per- tain to the property in the City of Evanston located at 1817 Church Street, and legally described as - Parcel 1: The West half bf Lot 12 and the East 10 feet of Lot 13 in Block 3 in Merrill,, Ladds Second Addition to Evanston, being a Subdivision of the West half of the South West quarter of the North East Quarter of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian; also Parcel 2: That portion of Lot 13 in Block 3 in Merrill and Ladds Second Addition to Evanston aforesaid de- scribed as follows: beginning at the North West corner of the East 10 feet of said Lot 13, thence Westerly 20 feet along the North line of said Lot 13, thence South- erly 76 feet parallel with the West line of the East 10. feet of said Lot 13, thence Easterly 20 feet parallel with the North line of said Lot 13 to the West line of the East 10 feet of said Lot 13, thence Northerly along the West line of said East 10 feet of said Lot 13, 76 feet to the place of beginning, all in Cook County, Illinois, 1 i t - 2 - 0 0.3 is hereby granted to Samuel H. Adams, Jr. and Delores E. Adams to permit establishment of a pool hall on said property in accordance with plans submitted and subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws, and the following conditions: That said variation shall terminate, on December 2, 1980, and that the use of the aforesaid premises as a pool hall shall be eliminated by such date. That a covenant of agreement to the above condition shall be drafted and submitted in recordable form by the appellants. SECTION 2: That the Director of Inspections and Permits is ordered and directed to grant such permit as shall be required to effectuate the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals, and tte variation granted there- under. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
