Lurie for a Special Use Permit to allow the Construction of Two Masonry Fences in. the Required Front Yard on Property Located in an Rl Single -Family Residence District. WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the application of Paul M. Lurie for a special use permit to allow the construction of two masonry fences in the required front yard in connection with the construction of a single-family dwelling on the premises commonly known as 641 Sheridan Square, Evanston, Illinois, be granted. SECTION 1: That the recoriunendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals are hereby confirmed. and_.the Director of Inspection and Permits is ordered and i directed to grant a special use permit to Paul M. Lurie to � construct two six-foot high masonry fences in the required I front yard on the property located at and commonly known j j as 641 Sheridan Square, in conjunction with the construction ! of a single—family dwelling on said property located in an R1 Single -Family Residence District. SECTION 2: That the special use permit described i herein pertains to the property legally described as - Lot 5 in Ehrlich's Resubdivision of Lots 13 and 20, inclusive, in Block 2 and that part of Block 2 and vacated alley lying East of and adjoining Lots 13 and 14 and vacated alley lying North of and adjoining ! Lots 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 in said Block 2 in Arnold & Warren's Addition to Evanston, in the South- west fractional quarter of Section 20, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the 'Third. Principal Meridian, +► in the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois I , a it 0 i 0 c' ', -2- and is subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable laws, and subject to the following conditions: 1. that the owner shall install and maintain a land- scaped planting between the masonry fences and the public way and, 2. that the owner shall sign a covenant in recordable form agreeing.to maintain a landscaped planting between the fences and the public way. SECTION 3: This.ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
