ORDINANCES-1973-084-O-73
84-0-73 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance 57-0-73 which granted the application of the Sisters of St. Francis' of the Perpetual Adoration to correct errors in the legal description of certain parcels which are to be subject to said Ordinances. WHEREAS Ordinance 57-0-73 granting the application of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Perpetual Adoration was passed by the City Council of the City of Evanston containing certain errors in the legal description of the parcels of land which are subject to such ordinance; and WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council of the City of Evanston to correct said errors; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That Section One of Ordinance 57-0-73 be amended • to read as follows: "SECTION 1: That a variation from the use and building height regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Evanston, adopted November 21, 1960, insofar as they pertain to the property in the City of Evanston located at 355 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, and legally described as - Parcel 1: Lot 2, except the East 669.00 feet thereof, all of Lot 3 and that part of Lot 5 lying North of a line 1462.61 feet North of and parallel with the South line of the N. W. 1/4 of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, in County Clerk's Division of unsubdivided lands in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, (excepting the Westerly 33.00 feet of said Lots taken for Ridge Avenue), (A) The West 60.00 feet of the East 669.00 feet of Lot 2, aforesaid, (B) Lots 2 to 9, both inclusive in Block 1, in Valeria M. • Williams Addition to Evanston, being a subdivision in the N.W. 1/4.of Section 30 Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; Parcel 2: The West 258 feet of the East 609 feet of Lot 2 of the County Clerk's Division of unsubdivided ©',; lands in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded September 12, 1888 in Book 32, Page 10-of Plats, as Document 1003433, in Cook County, Illinois; Parcel 3: Lots 10 to 18, both inclusive, (except that ID part of said Lots taken for widening Austin Avenue) in Block 5 in Merrill Ladd's Addition to Evanston in Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. is hereby granted to permit the construction of a six story ancillary building to be used by the medical and dental staff of St. Francis Hospital on property located in an R6 General Residence District, subject to compliance with all other provi- sions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws, and the following conditions: 1. That the building shall be constructed in conformity with the plans and site plan submitted, and 2. That the proposed structure be restricted to medical uses•affiliated with St. Francis Hospital; and • 3. That the applicants agree not to initiate or to be a party to any legal action to remove from the tax rolls the property hereinafter described; Lots 10 to 18, both inclusive (except that part of said Lots taken for widening Austin Avenue) in Block 5 in Merrill Ladd's Addition to Evanston in Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook: County, Illinois; and The North 163.00 Feet of the West 144.00 Feet of the East 933.31 Feet of Lot 2 of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the 3rd Prin- cipal Meridian, in County Clerk's Division of un- subdivided lands in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, in Coop: County, Illinois, and 4. That no charges shall be made for off-street parking for visitors, patients and employees; and • '5 Thatacovenant ofagreement to the above conditions shall be submitted in recordable form by the applicants." -2- 0 J • SECTION 2: That the Director of Inspections and Permits is directed to grant such permits as shall be required to effectuate the variations granted hereunder. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner pro- vided by law.
