HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1974-016-O-74• 16-0-74 AN ORDINANCE Granting a Variation from the Use Pro- visions of the Zoning Ordinance to Harris Trust and Savings Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 14113, Harve Robert Hectman, Sole Beneficiary, Relating to 996-1012 Main Street. 14 S WHEREAS on December 18, 1973, the Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing upon the application of Harris Trust and Savings Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 14113, Harve Robert Hechtman, Sole Beneficiary, for a variation from the Use provisions of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, as they apply to the property located at 996-1012 Main Street, an R6 General Residence District, said public hearing having been con- ducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such relief be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the application of Harris Trust and Savings Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 14113, Harve Robert Hectman,,Sole Beneficiary, for a variation from the Use provisions of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, insofar as said provisions pertain to the property located at 996-1012 Main Street, and legally described as Lots 7, 8 and 9 in Block 3 in Adams and Brown's addi- tion to Evanston, being a subdivision of that part of the north half of the north half of the south west quarter of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of Ridge Road (except the South 2 feet thereof,) in Cook County, Illinois, 'YM:Stixw`%e.N. SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits is hereby ordered and directed to grant such permits as shall be required to effectuate provisions of this ordinance. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and • effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
