HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1974-034-O-74Form 2a BLI 500 11-56 Intro:, 4-8-74 34-0-74 `Adopted: 4-15-74 • AN ORDINANCE .1 �3 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT known as Evanston Special Assessment No. 1328 • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, ILLINOIS: Section: is That a local improvement shall be made within the City of Evanston, County of Cook and State of Illinois, the nature, character, locality and description of which is as follows, to -wit: That Kedzie Street from the east line of Sheridan Rod to a point approximately 337 feet east of the center line of Sheridan Road, be improved by grading, construc- ting Combination Curb and Gutter, constructing a cul-de-sac at the east end of the Street, paving with a Bituminous Aggregate Mixture Base Course and an Asphaltic Concrete Surface, installing storm sewers and drainage structures, and adjusting existing manholes and catch basins. Section 2. That the Recommendation of this Ordinance by the Board of Local Improvements of the City of Evanston, Illinois, and the Estimate of the cost of said improvement made by the Engineer of said Board, both hereto attached, be and the same are hereby approved and by reference thereto made a part hereof; Section 3. That said improvement shall be made and the cost thereof, including the sum of Three Thousand Ninety Four and 56/100 ($3,094.56) -------Dollars, being the cost of making and collecting the Assessment and all other expenses as provided by law, shall be paid for by Special Assessment in accordance with an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois, known as the Illinois Municipal Code effective my 1 1961 and the Amendments thereto. Section 4. That tAe aggregate amount to -be assessed and each individual assessment shall be divided into ... Terl.... (_I )__________________ installments in the manner provided by law, and each of said installments shall bear interest at the rate of __six --------- per centum (...... 6---- g) per annum from the date of the first voucher issued on account of work done upon said proposed improvement; Section 5. T.. Form S BLI 500 12-64 • RECOMMENDATION OF THE BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS Relating to Evanston Special Assessment 1328. TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, ILLINOIS. The Board of Local Improvements of the City of Evanston, Illinois, herewith submits the draft of an Ordinance for the making of a local improvement within the City of Evanston, County of Cook and State of Illinois, the nature, character, locality and description of which is as follows, to -wit: That Kedzie Street from the east line of Sheridan Road to a point approximately 337 feet east of the center line of Sheridan Road, be improved by grading, constructing Combination Curb and Gutter, constructing a cul-de-sac at the east end of the Street, paging with a Bituminous Aggregate Mixture Base Course and an Asphaltic Concrete Surface, installing storm sewers and drainage structures, and adjusting existing manholes and catch basins. • and as part of said Ordinance and in conjunction therewith, said Board also herewith submits the Plans and Specifications of and an Estimate of the cost of said improvement, including the cost of engineering services, as finally determined by said Board; and said Board hereby recommends the passage of said Ordinance and the making of the improvement described therein. 0 Approved as to form: ���hL'i' - , -- -ames T.
