HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1974-058-O-740 • 0 ``C3 Introduced: July 8, 1974 Adopted as Amended:, July 15, 197L 58-0-74 AN ORDINANCE Granting the Appeal of the First National Bank of Evanston as Trustee under Trust R-1561, etc., for Special Use Permit - 1002 Chicago Avenue WHEREAS, on April 16, 1974, the Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing upon the application of .the First National Bank & Trust Company of.Evanston as Trustee under Trust R-1561, Frank A. Gesualdo, William Blatt, Edward Gesualdo and A. J. Lamourex, Beneficiaries, and Frank Mauro Oldsmobile, Inc., (Tenant) for a Special Use Permit to allow retention of an open sales lot limited to the storage of automobiles with regard to the premises located at 1002 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, which property is located in a C-3 commercial district, said public hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof as provided by law, and WHEREAS the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such relief be granted: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the First National Bank and Trust Company of Evanston as Trustee under Trust No. R-1561, L. • • 0 58-0-74 -2- ;Frank A. Lamourex, Beneficiaries, and Frank Mauro Oldsmobile, Inc., (Tenant) Ise granted a Special Use Permit to allow establishment of an open sees lot limited to the storage of automobiles on the property located at 1002 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, and legally described as: Lot 6 in Mersch Heir's Subdivision of that part between Chicago Avenue and Railroad lands of the south 25 acres of the north 50 acres of a 94-� acre tract described as the south half of the east 32 rods of the Northwest quarter and the south 2 of the northeast fractional quarter of Section 9, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois, is hereby granted subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the following conditions: 1. That automobiles stored thereon consist only of cars that are operable on the public streets when licensed; 2. Special Use is granted for one year only; 3. That a covenant of agreement to the above condi- tions shall be submitted in recordable form by the applicant. SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits is hereby ordered and directed to grant such permits as shall be required to effectuate the provisions of this ordinance. .k f', ►J i 58-0-74 •`'C5 -3- SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
