HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1974-071-O-74• • 71-0-74 AN ORDINANCE Amending Article 4 of the Code of the City of Evanston, 1957, as Amended, Relating to Alcoholic Liquor Dealers BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That Section 4-402(3) of the Code of the City of Evanston, 1957, as amended, is hereby amended is to read as follows: "(3) Class C Licenses which shall authorize the retail sale, in restaurants only, of alcoholic liquor for con- sumption on the premises where sold. No such license shall be granted to or retained by any establishment in which the facilities for food preparation and service are not primarily those of a restaurant, as defined in this ordinance. Alcoholic liquor may be sold in restaurants. holding Class C Licenses only during the period when their patrons are offered a complete meal. The annual fee for such license shall be $1,500. Only Thirteen (13) such licenses shall be in force at any one time." SECTION 2: All ordinances or portions of ordinances in conflict with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed. 0 (° 9 71-0-74 -2- SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
