AN 01RDINANCE Granting a Special Use c fir.it to the Presbyterian Home, for the Property located at 3200 Grant Street, to Construct an Addition and Alter Existing Buildings thereon -WHEREAS, on July 16, 1974, the Zoning Board of Appeals con- ' ducted a public hearing upon the application of the Presbyterian 3 Home fora special use permit to allow the construction of an ad- dition and alterations to.existing buildings on premises located in an R-5 eneral'residence district; said public hearing having g � been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof as pro- vided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning.Board of Appeals has recommended that the special use, permit be. granted: : 'BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE NOW,. THEREFORE, CITY' OF' EVANS.TON,: - COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS : SECTION 1: That the Presbyterian Home ,be granted a special use permit to allow the construction of an ad- .dition and�a].terations-:to:existing buildings on property located -at .3200.Grant, S.treet':­Evanston, Illinois, and legally,described. as follow r. "Lots,I to.10 inclusive .in Block 5 and Lots 1 to 11 .inclusive in Block .6 in the= Highlands Evanston. Lincolnwood first addition-, being a Subdivision of`.`the South.West,quarter of the South West,. quarter (except the. East- 20 acres thereof) ofSection 11, Township 41, North, Range 13. East --of the Third Principal Meridian. • (Except,parts,de'dicated.for street purposes.) and • -2- The West one-half of the South East quarter of the South West quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian. (Except parts dedicated for street purposes.) and The East 20 acres of the South West quarter of the South West quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, all in Cook County, Illinois. (Except parts dedicated for street purposes,)" 83-0-74 0 subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws, and the following conditions: 1) The permittee shall make an annual payment in lieu of taxes, in the event the permittee changes the financial requirements for residency at Geneva -Place or the Sidwell Building so that one or more of the occupants thereof may be individually charged for services provided, rather than the occupant assigning all his assets in return for lifetime care. The rate of payment in lieu of taxes shall be at the assessable rate the prop- erty would have born had it been subject to lev- ies by School Districts 65 and 202, the City of Evanston, and those corporate taxing bodies whose boundaries do not extend beyond the geo- graphical limits of the City of Evanston, pro- vided, however, that such payments shall be in the same ratio as the number of occupants indi- vidually paying for costs of service bears to the total occupancy. 2) That the construction shall be in accordance with plans submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals,, and identified as exhibit 3 therein. "3) That a covenant of agreement to the above conditions shall be submitted in recordable form by the appel- lants. SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits.is hereby ordered and directed to grant such per- mits as shall be required to effectuate provisions of this ordi- i nance. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
