HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1974-099-O-74i- 99-0-74 AN ORDINANCE Granting the Application of Joseph Planos and George Neuhaus For a Special Use Permit WHEREAS, on September 17, October 15 and November 19, 1974, the Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing upon the application of Joseph Pianos and George Neuhaus for a special use permit to allow establishment of a roofing contractors' office • and shop on the property located at 2129 Ashland Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, a C1 commercial district, said public hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof as pro- vided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such relief be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, EVANSTON, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the application of Joseph Planos and George Neuhaus for a special use permit to allow estab- lishment of a roofing contractors' office and shop on the property, located at 2129 Ashland Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, and legally described as follows: • Lot 16 in Block 11 in EVANSTON CENTER ADDI- TION being that part of the Southeast quar- ter of the Southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying West of the Railroad and West of that part of the Big Ditch lying West of the Railroad, and that part of the North 330 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying West of the Big Ditch and the East 66 feet of the South- west quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, is hereby granted, subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the following conditions: • ._,IT....,,., 99-0-74 -2- 1. There shall be no outside storage of materials; and, 2. no hot asphalt or tar shall be prepared or stored on the premises; and 3. any of the applicant's trucks left in the neighborhood at night shall be stored inside the building from 6:OOpm to 6:00 am; all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board of • Appeals. SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits is here- by ordered and directed to grant such permits as, shall be required to effectuate the provisions of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
