AN ORDINANCE
Granting A Special Use Permit
At 1822 Ridge Avenue To Allow A
Portion Of. A Building To Be
Used As A Warehouse
WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted
a public hearing on November 15, 1977 and December 20, 1977 upon
the application of Kay Campbells, Inc. for a special use permit to
permit the use of 17,000 square feet of the building located at
1822 Ridge Avenue as a storage facility for retail merchandise,
such premises being located in a C-2 Commercial district, said
public hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and pub-
lication thereof as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
that such permit be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application of Kay Campbells, Inc.
(Contract Purchaser) for a special use to
allow 17,000 square feet of the building to be occupied as a
storage and warehousing facility for retail merchandise within
• 1822 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, and legally described as:

Lot 4 and Lot 5 (except the South 53.15 feet)
in the Circuit Court Partition of Lot 25 in
the County Clerk's Division of the N.W. 4 of
Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 14, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois,
be and hereby is granted subject to compliance with all other
provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable laws.
SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits is
hereby ordered and directed to grant such
permits as shall be required to effectuate the provisions of
this ordinance.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and appro-
val in the manner provided by law.
