Amending Section X.B.2.c

�I WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Amendment Committee conducted public
hearings on February 3, 1977 and March 1, 1979 on a proposed amendment to
i;
Section. X.B.2.c of the Zoning Ordinance, said public hearings having been con-
ducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner provided by
f� law; and

WHEREAS, the Zoning Amendment Committee has recommended that such
. I! amendment be made;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
I EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

SECTION 1: That Section X.B.2.c of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance,
adopted November 21, 1960, as amended, be further
i amended to read as follows:
i
(I
II "c. Where parking spaces are located in a parking lot where
i� allowed1by this ordinance, the following restrictions
it shall' apply:
(1) In RI, R2, R3, R4, R5 and RSA Districts, the
I surfaced area of all parking spaces shall be
�i not less than.fifteen (15) feet from every
street lot line nor less than the established
�j front yard set -back line of any adjoining lot,
• ;I whichever is greater, and may be placed only
;i at a location where parking spaces are a per-
mitted yard obstruction (See Section IV.J.).
(2) In R6, R7, Ul, U2, U3, U4, Ml, M2, M3 and 144
II Districts, the surfaced area of all parking
spaces shall be not less than fifteen (15)

SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- j
