AN ORDINANCE
Amending Section 10-4-12(B) and
10-4-12(D) of the Evanston City Code, 1979
Relating to Street Cleaning
10/6/80
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK
jCOUNTY, ILLINOIS:

SECTION 1: That Section 10-4-12(B) of the Evanston City Code, 1979,
as amended, be and hereby is further amended to read
j`as follows:
(f (B) DISTRICT TWO: All that part of the City lying west and south of
4 + the boundaries as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the sout1
I� City limits and the west line of Ridge Avenue; thence north to a
�I point, being the intersection of the said west line of
1 Ridge Avenue and the south -line of Oakton Street; thence west
along the said south line of Oakton Street to a point, being the
i intersection of said south line and the west line of Asbury Avenue;
I� thence north along the said west line of Asbury Avenue to a point,
being the intersection of said west line and the north line of
I� Main Street; thence west along said north line of Main Street to
!' a point, being the intersection of said north line and the west
(j line of Dodge Avenue; thence north along said west line of Dodge
Avenue to a point, being the intersection of said west line and
the north line of Greenleaf Street; thence west along the said
north line of Greenleaf Street to the west City limits.
�! DISTRICT TWO'also includes that part of the City lying between
ij the north line of Dempster Street and the norti line of Greenleaf
Street from the center line of the right of way of the Milwaukee
�i Division of the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad to the west line
of Asbury Avenue.

! Between the -hours of nine o'clock A.M. (9:00 A.M.) and four
o'clock P.M. (4:00 P.M.).

1. On the SOUTH side of all streets and public thoroughfares
extending in a general easterly and westerly direction, and on
the WEST side of all streets and public thoroughfares extending
in a general northerly and southerly direction on each TUESDAY.
2. On the NORTH side of all streets and public thoroughfares ex-
tending in a general easterly and westerly direction, and on the
EAST side of all streets and public thoroughfares extending in a
general northerly and southerly direction on each WEDNESDAY.
;and that Section 10-4-12(D) be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
(D) DISTRICT FOUR: All that part of the City lying east of the
boundaries as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the
east City limits and the north line of Greenleaf Street; thence
west along said north line of Greenleaf Street to a point, being
the intersection of.said north line and the centerline of the

right of way of the Milwaukee Division of the Chicago and North-
western Railroad; thence northwesterly along the center of the
said right of way to a point, being the intersection of the center
of the said right of way and the north line of Dempster Street;
thence west along tale said north line of Dempster Street to a
I point, being the intersection of said north line and the west line
of Asbury Avenue; thence north along the said west line of Asbury
Avenue to a point, being the intersection of said west line and
the center of the right of way of the Milwaukee Division of the
Chicago and Northwestern Railroad; thence northwesterly along the
center of the said right of way to a point, being the intersection
of the center of the said right of way and the north line of
Simpson Street; thence east along the said north line of Simpson
Street to the east City limits.
DISTRICT FOUR also includes that part of the City lying between
the north line of Greenleaf Street and the north line of Main
Street from the west line of Asbury Avenue to the west line of
Dodge Avenue.
Between the hours of one o'clock A.M. (1:00 A.M.) and eight
o'clock A.M. (8:00 A.M.).

2. On the NORTH side of all streets and public thoroughfares ex-

EAST side of all streets and public thoroughfares extending in a
general northerly and southerly direction on each FRIDAY.

SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
�1 herewith are hereby repealed.
i SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in the
11manner provided by law.
