HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1980-114-O-8019 3 I • • is t i 11/6/80 114-0-80 AN ORDINANCE i An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 71-0-78 WHEREAS, the Zoning Amendment Committee at public hearingsconducted April 3, 1980, May 1, 1980, June 5, 1980 and Jul 3 1980 considered the � Y petition of Bryant -Central Venture to amend the covenant executed by Ross- �' Kotin Homes, Inc., and Clement Construction Company pursuant to Ordinance f I 71-0-78 which amended the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Evanston by the ireclassification of the property commonly known as 1201-1223 Central Street from R-1 Single Family Residence District and R-5 General Family Residence I District to R-6 General Residence District subject to certain conditions ,) relating to the improvement thereon; and it WHEREAS, the Zoning Amendment Committee has recommended that the covenant executed and approved pursuant to Ordinance 71-0-78 be amended in the following particulars: (1) that the construction of 1201-1223 Central Street be in accordance with Plan A1.1 revised June 5, 1980 prepared I by Booth, Nagle & Hartray (2) ,The forty fourth (44th) dwelling unit m<<y be attached or detached from the other forty three (43) attached ' dwelling units. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF fI EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOLS: j SECTION 1: That Ordinance 71-0-78 of the City Code of the City I of Evanston approved August 14, 1978 be amended to �i read as follows: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Evanston, 1960, as amended, be and is hereby further amended to reclas- sify the property commonly known as 1201-23 Central, i Evanston, Illinois and legally described as follows: ,i • I" • i 114-0-80 11/7/80 Blocks 13 and 20 (except the West 120 feet of said blocks and also excepting the North 52, feet of the East 120 feet of said Block 13), in University Subdivision of the South half, of Lot 20 and all of Lots 21 and 22 in George Smith's subdivision of the South Section of Ouilmette Reservation in Township 42 North, Range 13 East of the Third Principal Meridian and commonly known as 1201-23 Central from R-1 Single Family Residence District and R-5 General Residence District to R-6 General Residence District. That the petitioners, Clement Construction Company and Ross Kotin Homes Inc. amend the covenant filed with the City prior to the adoption .of the rezoning in the following particulars: (1) that such amendment shall be in recordable form acceptable to the Corporation Counsel (2) that the development of the property shall be limited to the construction of forty four (44) dwelling units (3) that the forty fourth (44th) dwelling urit may be attached or detached from the other forty three (43) dwelling units (4) that said construction shall be in confcrmance with plan A1.1 revised June 5, 1980 by Booth, Nagle and Hartray and submitted to and approved by the Zoning Amendment Committee at public hearing SECTION 2: That the official District Map of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Evanston, as amended, be further amend- ed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance_ I SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- i with are hereby repealed. j SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full =orce and effect from i and after its passage; approval, and publication in i� the manner provided by law.
