j WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public
'hearing on September 16, 1980 and again on October 21, 1980 upon the appli-
i;cation of the Dempster Building Limited Partnership as sole beneficiary of
i;
;;American National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago, Trust 21543 (owner) and
i!Dorothy Sacks (tenant) for a special use to allow a resale shop for children's !
i
!,clothing and accessories in a 62 Business District on property located at

1814 Dempster Street, Evanston, Illinois; said hearings having been conducted
i
;pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the
;application for said special use be granted;

it NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUKCIL OF THE CITY OF

EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

SECTION 1: That the application of the Dempster Building Limited
Partnership as sole beneficiary of American National
it
!°Bank & Trust Company of Chicago, Trust 21543 and Dorothy Sacks for a special
'fuse to allow a resale shop for children's apparel and accessories on the
!.',property located at 814 Dempster Street, and legally described as follows:
The North 30 feet of Lot 23 and all of Lot 24; also the West 24.20 i
feet of Lot 1 and the West 24.20 feet of the North 33 feet of Lot 2;
also the Vacated Alley lying between the said portions of Lots 23
i and 24 on the West and said portions of Lots 1 and 2 on the East,
which said vacated Alley covered hereby has approximately a width
of 20 feet and a length of 80 feet; all in Block 1 in 0. Huse's
Addition to Evanston, a Subdivision in the North East 1/4 of the
North West 1/4 of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of
the 3rd Principal Meridian
