AN ORDINANCE
Granting a Special Use to Allow
Retention of the Harvest Food Co-op
vt 620 Madison Street
WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public
hearing on September 16, 1980 and again on October 21, 1980 upon the appli-
cation of the Reba Place Church, Inc. for special use to permit the reten-
tion of the Harvest Food Co-op in a C3 Commercial District on property
located at 620 Madison Street, Evanston, Illinois; said hearings having
been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner
prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the
application for said special use be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY :OUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application of the Reba Place Church, Inc.
for a special use to allow the retention of the
Harvest Food Co-op on the property located at 620 Madison Street, Evanston,
Illinois and legally described as follows:
it Lots 17 and 18 in Block 2 in J.B. Adams
lAddition to Evanston in the Southeast Quarter
of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14,
I East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook
j County, Illinois
is granted for a period of two years from the effective date of this or-
dinance subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Or-
dinance and other applicable laws. Said special use may be further ex-
tended by action of the Planning & Development Committee upon application
said committee by.the property owner.

SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits is hereby
directed to issue such permit pursuant to the terms
of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner
