WHEREAS, The Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public i i hearing on February 19, 1980, and continuing on March 25, 1980, upon an j application by Saint Francis Hospital for a special use pursuant to Section I; 6-12-9-2 (B)3b of the Zoning Ordinance to permit relocation and construction I ;; of a new transformer enclosure, oxygen storage facility and gas meter en - I li closure, parts of which exceed 14-1/2 feet in height,and temporary exception � from off-street parking requirements on property located at 355 Ridge, said !I ! public hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication t thereof in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Amendment Committee has recommended that such amendment be made; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I! ! EVAN STON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: I� SECTION 1: That the application of Saint Francis Hospital for a special use to permit relocation and construction of a new transformer enclosure, oxygen storage facility and gas meter enclosure ' parts of which exceed 14-1/2 in height, and temporary exception from off- ;i street parking requirements of Section 6-9-10 (P) during said construction d on the property located at 355 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, and legally I; described as follows: J i i! 32-0-80 Lot 2, except the East 669.00 feet thereof, all of Lot 3 and that part of Lot 5 lying North of a line 1462.61 feet North of and parallel with the South line of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in County Clerk's Division of unsubdivided lands in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the Third Principal Meridian (excepting the Westerly 33.00 feet of said Lots taken for Ridge Avenue) (A) The West 60.00 feet of the East 669.00 feet of Lot 211 aforesaid. (B) Lots 2 to 9, both inclusive in Block 3 in Valeria M. Williams Addition to Evanston, being a subdivision in the N.W. 1/4 of Section 30 Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the Third Principal Meridian. as (C) Tile West 258 ft. of the East 609 ft. of said lot 2, in said County Clerk's Division. (D) The vacated 8 foot Public alley lying West of and adjoining said lots 2 thru 9 in said Block 3; Also, that part of vacated lot 1 in said Block 3, lying South of the said South line of lot 2 in County Clerks Division and East of the East line of said lots 3 & 5 in said County Clerks Division (containing 26,606 sq. ft. (B) and (D) ). is granted, subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the following conditions: 1. That it be constructed in conformity with the plans submitted, which were date stamped January 25, 1980, by the Appeals officer; and 2. That the temporary exception from the off-street parking require- ments shall terminate upon completion of the proposed parking structure, or by March 25, 1982, if no building permit for said parking structure has been issued. SECTION 2: Tile Director of Inspections and Permits is hereby directed to issue such permit pursuant to the terms of this ordinance.
