HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1981-052-O-81.4 5/27/81 52-0-81 AN ORDINANCE Granting a Variation from • Off -Street Parking Requirements and for a Special Use at 901 Grove Street WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing on April 21, 1981 and again on May 19, 1981 upon.the application of the First National Bank & Trust Company of Evanston for a variation from the off-street parking requirements as to screening of parking areas at 901 Grove Street and for a special use to permit retention and re -design of the drive-in 4 facility associated with the bank; said hearings having been conducted pur- suant to notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the application for said variation and special use be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: • SECTION 1: That the application of the First National Bank & Trust Company of Evanston for a variation from the off-street parking regulations to permit the off-street parking area to be unscreened and for a special use to permit retention and re -design of the drive-in facility associated with the bank, on the property located at 901 Grove Street, Evanston, Illinois, and legally described as follows: Lot 3 and Lots 6 to 12, both inclusive (except from said premises that part conveyed by Henry Sontage to the Chicago & North Western Railway by Warranty Deed dated January 27, 1906, and recorded February 26, 1906, as Document 3824275), all in Wheeler's Subdivision of the South 250 feet (West of Railroad) of Block 63 in the Village (now City) of Evanston, in Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. is granted, subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the condition that the re -design be • in substantial conformity with the plan submitted and identified as Board's • • • Exhibit 1. SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning is hereby directed to issue such permit pursuant to the terms of this ordinance.
