AN ORDINANCE
Granting a Special Use for the
Property Located at 3200 Grant Street
!! WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted public
,

!; hearings on March 16, 1982 and again on April 20, 1982 upon the application
�{ of the Presbyterian Home for a special use to permit construction'of a one-
story addition to Cottage Number 28 at 3200 Grant Street, Evanston, Illinois,
on that portion of property located in an R5 Single -Family Residence District;
said hearings having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof
j� in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such
special use be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application of the Presbyterian Home for a
special use to permit construction of a one-story
addition to Cottage -Number 28 on the property located at 3200 Grant Street,
Evanston, Illinois and legally described as follows:
Lots 1 to 10, inclusive, in Block 5 and Lots 1 to 11, inclusive,
in Block 6 in the Highlands, Evanston Lincolnwood First Addition,
bein.g a subdivision of the South West Quarter of the South West
Quarter (except the East 20 acres thereof) of Section 11, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian;
Also
The West half of the South East Quarter of the South West Quarter
(except parts dedicated for street purposes) of Section 11, Town-
�� ship 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian;
Also
The East 20 acres of the South West Quarter of the South West
Quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the
Third Principal Meridian (except parts dedicated for street
purposes);
Together With
All of the North and South 8.0 foot alley lying East of and ad-
joining Lots 5 to 11, inclusive, in Block 6; also 8.0 foot alley
