AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Application of
the Jupiter-Orrington Corporation
• and McDonald's Corporation
for a Special -Use
at 1700 Orrington-Avenue
WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public
hearing on August 21, 1984 upon the application by the Jupiter-Orrington
Corporation as sole beneficiary under the LaSalle National Bank, Trust 105019,
and McDonald's Corporation for a special use to allow establishment of a
fast-food restaurant in a portion of the existing building on the property
located at 1700 Orrington Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, property located in a
B4 Business District; said public hearing having been conducted pursuant to
notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the
application for said special use be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.
• EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application of the Jupiter-Orrington
Corporation as sole beneficiary under the LaSalle
National Bank, Trust 105019, and McDonald's Corporation for a special use
to allow establishment of a fast-food restaurant in a portion of the existing
building on the property located at 1700 Orrington Avenue, Evanston, and
legally described as follows:
Parcel 1:
Lots 2, 3 and 4 in Block 16, in Evanston, in the Southeast
'- of the Northwest 4 of Section 18, Township 41 North,
Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois.
Parcel 2:
The North 2 of Lot 7 and all of Lot 8 in Block 16 in
Evanston, in the Southeast 4 of the Northwest 4 of
• Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
is granted subject to compliance with all otherapplicable provisions of the

Zoning Ordinance of the City Code of the City of Evanston, as amended, and

i all other applicable laws and the following conditions:

li (1) that the remodeling of the area to be occupied by said use shall
i
be done in substantial comprlfiance with the revised plans filed in
connection with this application and'the photographic and artistic
i renderings filed with the Planning and Development Committee; and
(2) that the operations of said use shall be for not more than twenty
(20) hours out of any twenty-four (24) hour daily period.

SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning is ordered and
directed to grant such permits or certificates of
occupancy as shall be required to effectuate the recommendations of the.

Zoning Board of Appeals, and the special use granted thereunder.

SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
