AN ORDINANCE
Granting a Special Use
at 1919-25 Dempster Street
• WHEREAS,' the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals
, g ppe s conducted a public

hearing on October 15, 1985 upon the application of McDonald's Corporation
for a special use to permit construction of a one-story addition of
approximately 132 square feet on the west side of the existing drive-in
restaurant, said application concerning 1919-25 Dempster Street, Evanston,
Illinois, property located in an M3 Manufacturing District; said public
hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof in
the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the
application for said special use be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application of McDonald's Corporation for a -
special use to permit construction of a one-story
addition of approximately 132 square feet on the west side of the existing
drive-in restaurant on property located at 1919-25 Dempster Street, Evanston,
Illinois, and legally described as follows:
Lot 1 of Plat of Consolidation of all that part of the North
275 feet of the South 308 feet of the South half of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 13,
Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, lying West of the West line of Dodge Avenue, and
lying East of the Easterly right of way line of .the Chicago
and Northwestern Railway (except therefrom the East 150 feet
of the South 135 feet.thereof), in the City of Evanston,
Cook County,.Illinois
is granted subject to compliance with all other applicable provisions of the
Zoning Ordinance of the City Code of the City of Evanston, 1979, as amended
and all other applicable laws.

SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning is ordered and
directed to grant such permits or certificates of
occupancy as shall be required to effectuate the recommendations of the
Zoning Board of Appeals and the special use granted thereunder.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
