AN ORDINANCE
Granting a Special Use
i to Permit the Reduction in
'! the Number of Off -Street
• ! Parking Spaces at 1334 Wesley
WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted public`
�•}.�•. hearings on August 27, 1985 and November 19, 1985 upon the application by
the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Evanston, Illinois, for
a special use to permit a reduction in the number of off-street parking
".�• .I spaces required to serve the church from 40 spaces to 8 spaces; said

application concerning 1334 Wesley Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, property
located in an R1 Single -Family Residence District; said public hearings
having been conducted pursuant to notice and Publication thereof in the •
manner prescribed by law; and

! WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the

x..� application for said special use be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF'
• i EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application by the Bethlehem Evangelical
!, Lutheran Congregation of Evanston, Illinois, for a
special use to permit a reduction.in the number of off-street parking spaces'
required to serve the church from 40 spaces to 3 spaces at 1334 Wesley Avenue,
�W!: Evanston, Illinois, and legally described as follows:
Lots 1 and 2 in Block 1 in Hitt's Addition to Evanston,
t; a Subdivision of Lots 1 to 4 in Block 58; also Lot 40
t=?;in Cosgrove's Subdivision lying North and adjoining
F said Lots 1 to 4, said Lot 40 being the South 'Z of
Greenwood Street, in Section 13, Township 41 North,
- Range 13 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in

is granted subject to compliance with all other applicable provisions of the .
!� Zoning Ordinance of the City Code of the City of Evanston, as amended,

SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning is ordered and
�. directed to grant such permits or certificates of
jioccupancy as shall be required to effectuate the recommendations of the
i; Zoning Board of Appeals, and the special use granted thereunder.
!i SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner
