AN ORDINANCE
APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT 1356S
FOR CITY OF EVANSTON LOCAL IMPROVEMENT KNOWN AS
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT NUMBER 1356
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the local improvement known as Evanston
Special Assessment No. 1356 and described as
follows:
The public alley in the block bounded by Milburn
Street on the north, Lincoln Street on the south,
Sherman Avenue on the west and Orrington Avenue on
the east in the City of Evanston be improved by
excavating, constructing the necessary drainage
system, and paving with 8" Portland Cement pavement
to a width of thirteen feet (13'),
• has been completed and accepted by the Board of Local
Improvements.
SECTION 2: That the final costs and eXpenses
of said local improvement as determined by the
Board and its Engineer exceed the original special assessment
by One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-seven and 30/100 Dollars
($1,687.30) and require the levying of a supplemental
assessment.
SECTION 3: That the Recommendation of this
Ordinance for a supplemental assessment by the
Board of Local Improvements of the City of Evanston, Illinois,
and the statement of revised final project costs made by the
Engineer of said Board, both hereto attached, be and the same
are hereby approved and by reference thereto made a part.

SECTION 4: That the supplemental assessment,
as,reflected in the revised final total
project cost of Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-six and
70/100ths Dollars ($18,756.70) be approved, and that the Board
of Local Improvements be directed to file a petition for
supplemental assessment together with an amended special
assessment roll reflecting increased total assessments and
installment payments.

SECTION 5: That the Board of Local Improvements
be directed to comply with any and all
statutory procedures for the making, filing and levying of a
supplemental assessment.
SECTION 6: That all Ordinances or parts of
Ordinances conflicting with this Ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed; and
SECTION 7: That this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.

RECOMMENDATION OF THE BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS
SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT 1356S
TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, ILLINOIS:
The Board of Local Improvements of the City of Evanston,
Illinois, herewith submits the draft of an Ordinance for the
approval of Supplemental Assessment 1356S to cure a deficiency
in Special Assessment 1356, a City of Evanston local
improvement described as follows:
The public alley in the block bounded by Milburn
Street on the north, Lincoln Street on the south,
Sherman Avenue on the west and Orrington Avenue on
the east in the City of Evanston be improved by
excavating, constructing the necessary drainage
system, and paving with 8" Portland Cement pavement
to a width of thirteen feet (13');
and as part of said Ordinance and in conjunction therewith,
said Board also herewith submits the statement of revised final
project costs of said improvement as finally determined by said
Board; and said Board hereby recommends the passage of said
Ordinance for Supplemental Assessment 1356S and the filing of
said Ordinance and the amended Special Assessment rolls
reflecting the costs of the supplemental assessment
incorporated therein.
