AN ORDINANCE
4 Granting a Variation from the
1 Use Regulations of the Zoning Ordinance
to Permit a Change of Use from
a Restaurant to a Fast -Food Restaurant
on a Property Located at 2000 Green Bay Road
WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public
'hearing on December 11, 1984 upon the application by Melvin Plotsky as sole

'beneficiary of the American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago Trust
!61852 for a variation from the use regulations of the Zoning Ordinance to
permit a change of use from a restaurant to a fast-food restaurant; said
iapplication concerning 2000 Green Bay Road, Evanston, Illinois, property
,
(located in a C2 Commercial District; said public hearing having been conducted
11pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law;

WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the
application for said variation from the use regulations of the Zoning
Ordinance be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application of Melvin Plotsky as sole beneficiary
it of the American National Bank and Trust Company of
('Chicago Trust 61852 for a variation from the use regulations of the Zoning
Ordinance to permit a change of use from a restaurant to a fast-food
restaurant at 2000 Green Bay Road, Evanston, Illinois, and legally described
as follows:
Lot 1 (except that part thereof lying Northeasterly of a
line drawn from a point in the Northwesterly line of Lot 1
aforesaid, 17 feet Southwesterly of the Northeasterly corner
of said Lot to a point in the Southerly line of Lot 1
aforesaid, 25 feet Westerly of the Southeasterly corner of
said Lot 1) in Thayer and Chandler's Subdivision of Block 1
in T. Craven's Resubdivision of Blocks 1, 6 and 7 in Grant
and Jackson's Addition to Evanston in the Northeast 4 of
Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 13 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, ALSO Lot 2 (except that part thereof
lying Northeasterly of a line drawn from a point in the
Northwesterly line of said Lot 2, 12.75 feet Southwesterly

I: in the Southwesterly line of Lot 2, 17 feet Southwesterly

Chandler's Subdivision aforesaid, all in Cook County,

is granted subject -to compliance with a litter clean-up plan to be approved
by the City of Evanston and all other applicable provisions of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City Code of the City of Evanston, as amended, and all
other applicable laws.
SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning is ordered and
i directed to grant such permits or certificates of

occupancy as shall be required to effectuate the recommendations of the
i
Zoning Board of Appeals, and the change of use granted thereunder.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
'i and after its passage and approval in the manner
