HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1986-076-O-867/7/86 • • 76-0-86 MAN ORDINANCE Granting a Special Use at 2650 Ridge to Permit Construction of a two -Story Addition to Evanston Hospital WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing on June 17, 1986 upon the application of Evanston Hospital for a special hospital use to permit construction of a two-story addition of approximately 4,300 square feet between the Diagnostic and Treatment Center Building and the North Building for installation of a magnetic resonance imaging unit on property located at 2650 Ridge, Evanston, Illinois, in an R6 General Residence District; said hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the application for said special use be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS SECTION 1: That the application of Evanston Hospital for a special hospital use to permit construction of a two-story addition of approximately 4,300 square feet between the Diagnostic and Treatment Center I ! Building and the North Building for installation of a magnetic jresonance imaging unit on property located at 2650 Ridge, Evanston, Illinois and legally described as follows: Lot 1 in Evanston Hospital Consolidation of various Blocks, Lots, Street and Alley in the Southwest 1/4 and in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois is granted, subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the following conditions: 1. Construction of the addition shall be in substantial compliance with the plans placed on file and the testimony presented in conection with this case; 2. The six (.6) offices that will be located in the proposed addition shall not be used as offices assigned to individual doctors for private practice of medicine for profit except as specifically • • 76-0-86 designated in Section 6-12-9-2(B) and (C) of the Zoning Ordinance. i SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning f is hereby directed to issue such permits I pursuant to the terms of this ordinance. I SECTION.3: All ordinahces.or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. i SECTION 4.: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, I approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
