HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1986-071-O-865/27/86 5/29/86 5/30/86 71-0-86 AN ORDINANCE �i Granting a Special Use at 821-27 Washington • �I WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing on May 20, 1986 upon the application of the Trustees of Schools of Evanston Township, being Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois, for variations from the yard ( obstruction, side yard and off-street parking regulations of the Zoning Ordinance to permit proposed off-street parking spaces to encroach into the required side yards and for a special use to permit establishment of a parking lot to serve the school premises at 828 Main Street, said parking lot on property located in.an R6 General Residence District at 821-27 Washington Street; said hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by • law; and WHEREAS the above cited request for variations has been withdrawn by the applicant; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the application of the Trustees i of Schools of Evanston Township, being Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois, for a special use to permit 1 establishment of a parking lot on property located at 821-27 Washington Street and legally described as follows: Lots 12 and 13 and the East 10 feet of Lot 11 in Block 2 in Adams and Brown's Addition to Evanston in Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois • is granted to serve the premises at 828 Main Street subject to the following conditions: ,1 l.. The lots comprising the premises shall be +. consolidated prior to issuance of permits; and 71-0-86 • • • 2. Revised site and landscape plans shall be submitted to the Building and Zoning Department to verify that the proposed parking spaces do not encroach into the required side yards, and said plans shall then be submitted to the Site Plan Review Committee for their j review and approval. ! SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning is I hereby directed to issue such permit i pursuant to the terms of this ordinance. I SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
