AN ORDINANCE
Granting a Variation and
Special Use at 303 Dodge Avenue
WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals
conducted a public hearing December 16, 1986 upon the
application of the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation as
beneficiary under the La Salle National Bank and Trust Company,
Trust #7543, and Mikdosh E1 Hagro Hebrew Center for a variation
from the yard obstruction regulations of the Zoning Ordinance
to allow placement of a sign in the front yard and a special
use to permit installation of a sign to identify the users of
the premises, at 303 Dodge Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, property
located in an R2 Single -Family Residence District; said hearing
having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication
thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
• that the application for said variation and special use be
granted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the application of the Jewish I
Reconstructionist Congregation as '
beneficiary under the LaSalle.National Bank and Trust Company,
Trust #7543,.and Mikdosh E1 Hagro Hebrew Center for a variation
from the yard obstruction regulations of the Zoning Ordinance
to allow placement of a sign in the front yard and a special j
use to permit installation of a sign to identify the users of
the premises on property legally described as: I
Lots 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 in Dodge Avenue, Ulford i
Street "L" Station Subdivision, a subdivision in the I
northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 25,
• Township 41 north, Range 13, east of the third principal
meridian, in Cook County, Illinois,
is granted, subject to compliance with all other provisionsof
the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the following
