HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1988-049-O-8807/19/88 • :: AN ORDINANCE Granting Variations at 425 and 429 Lee Street WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals • conducted a public hearing on July 12, 1988 upon the application of Raymond H. Keeler and Lucille R. Keeler for variations from the lot width, lot area and side yard regulations of the Zoning Ordinance to permit subdivision of the property into two lots and sale of each of said lots separately at 425 and 429 Lee Street, property located in an R6 General Residence District; said public hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the application for said variations be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY -COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That, based upon the evidence and • testimony presented at the hearing, and upon deliberations and findings of fact contained in the transcript of the Zoning Board of Appeals Case No. 88-18-V(R), the application of Raymond H. Keeler and Lucille R. Keeler for variations from the lot width, lot area and side yard regulations of the Zoning Ordinance to permit subdivision of the property into two lots and sale of each of said lots separately at 425 and 429 Lee Street, property located in an R6 General Residence District and legally described as follows: The East 90.0 feet of Lots 11 and 12 in Block 2 in White's Addition to Evanston, a subdivision in the Northeast quarter of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the Third.Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois is granted, subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the following • conditions: 1. The proposed subdivision plat shall be revised to show an easement on proposed lot 2 for the benefit of proposed lot 1 to allow the residents of proposed lot 1 to use the three most northerly existing parking t • :: • • • spaces on proposed lot 2; and 2. The proposed subdivision plat shall be further revised to provide an access easement over the northerly portion of proposed lot 2 for the benefit of proposed lot 1 for the limited purpose of allowing access by the residents of proposed lot 1 to the three most northerly existing parking spaces on proposed lot 2. SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
