HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1989-035-O-894._` i -uJ a 35-0-89 AN ORDINANCE Granting a Special Use at 607-21 Custer Avenue WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals • conducted a public hearing on February 21, 1989, upon the application of the City of Evanston (owner) and Levin/Spatz, Architects (prospective purchaser) for a special use to permit the construction of fourteen attached single;,family dwellings, the units of which will each be located in part, below the second floor on property located at 607-21 Custer Avenue, in a B2 Business District; said public hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the application for said special use be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That, based upon the evidence and • testimony presented at the hearing, and upon deliberations and findings of fact contained in the transcript of the Zoning Board of Appeals Case No. 88-40-SU(R), the application of City of Evanston (owner) and Levin/Spatz, Architects (prospective purchaser) for a special use to permit the construction of fourteen attached single-family dwellings, the units of which will each be located in part, below the second floor on property located at 607-21 Custer Avenue and legally described as follows: Lots 17, 18 and 20 and Resubdivision of Lot 19 in Keeney and Rinn's Addition to Evanston, in the Southeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. is granted, subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable laws, and the • following conditions: 1. The proposed construction shall be in substantial compliance with the testimony presented and the plans placed on file in connection with this case; and -1- # 35-0-89 2. A plat of consolidation shall be approved by the City Council prior to the issuance of building permits for the project. SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
