AN ORDINANCE
Granting Variations and Special Use
at 2413 Park Place
WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Board of Appeals
• conducted a public hearing on January 17, 1989, upon the
application of William E. Cagney and Irene T. Cagney as
beneficiaries under the American National Bank and Trust
Company of Chicago, Trust 65020, for variations from the yard
obstruction, front yard, side yard and non -conforming building
regulations to permit construction of a one-story front porch
addition, two-story rear addition, chimney, and increasing the
height of the existing roof by six feet to create a second
floor on property located at 2413 Park Place, Evanston,
Illinois in an R1 Single -Family Residence District; said public
hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and
publication thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
that the application for said variations be granted;
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That, based upon the evidence and
testimony presented at the hearing, and
upon deliberations and findings of fact contained in the
transcript of the Zoning Board of Appeals Case No. 88-36-V &
SU(R), the application of William E. Cagney and Irene T. Cagney
as beneficiaries under the American National Bank and Trust
Company of Chicago, Trust 65020, for variations from the yard
obstruction, front yard, side yard and non -conforming building
regulations to permit construction of a one-story front porch
addition, two-story rear addition, chimney, and increasing the
height of the existing roof by six feet, to create a second
• floor on property located at 2413 Park Place, Evanston,
Illinois and legally described as follows:

LOT 12 IN BLOCK 3 IN JOHN CULVER'S ADDITION TO NORTH
EVANSTON, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. (IN THE SOUTH SECTION
OF QUILMETTE RESERVATION, IN TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 13,
EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN)
is granted, subject to compliance with all other provisions of
the Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the condition
that the proposed construction shall be in substantial
compliance with the testimony presented and the plans placed on
file in connection with this case.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage,
approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
