RESOLUTION
Upon the Occasion of the
Death of
HAROLD W. MOGG
WHEREAS, HAROLD W. MOGG departed this life on August 15,
1972; and
WHEREAS, HAROLD W. MOGG was a member of the City Council
from 1941 to 1957, representing the Third Ward; and
WHEREAS, during his term as Alderman, he served on various
committees of the City Council, 'including the Finance, Judiciary,
Lighting, Parks, Public Buildings, Relief, Streets, and Water
Committees; and
WHEREAS, Evanston citizens deeply appreciate his interest
in serving the citizens of his ward, as well as the citizens
of the entire city, giving most liberally'of his time, energy
and abilities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City
of Evanston to pay tribute to HAROLD W. MOGG:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the City
Council of the City of Evanston, on behalf of ourselves, the
Mayor, the City Manager, the officials, and all citizens of
this community, we express our profound regret upon the occasion
of the death of HAROLD W. MOGG, and tender to the bereaved
f
members of his family our heartfelt sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be made a part
•of the permanent records of the City and that a suitable copy =
thereof, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk,
be sent to the members of his bereaved family.` B.
