OF RESULTS OF REGULAR ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 3,
1973
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of April, 1973, a regular election was
• held in and for the Town of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois, for
the purpose of electing a Township Supervisor and a Township Assessor,
each to serve a full four year term; and
WHEREAS, said election has been regularly called and held and
notice of said election was given as required by law by publication
of notice of said election in the Evanston Review, being a newspaper
published in and of general circulation throughout the City of
Evanston, and that Judges of Election were duly qualified voters
of the precinct in which they served and had resided in said pre-
cinct for the time required by law and that said Judges were duly
commissioned as required by law prior to entering upon their duties,
and that the returns of said election have been filed with the Town
• Clerk of the Township of Evanston and that a canvassing committee
duly appointed as provided by law has examined the returns of said
election; and

, Clerk, Maurice F. Brown, Township Assessor, Charles M. Rohrer, and
the Township Supervisor, Coleman Miller; and
WHEREAS, Coleman Miller has declined to declare the results of
said election;
NOW, THEREFORE, Maurice F. Brown, Town Clerk, and Charles M.
Rohrer, Town Assessor, do hereby declare:
Section 1: That Quaife M. Ward has been duly elected
Township Supervisor of Evanston Township for
•, a full four year term; and that Charles M. Rohrer has been duly
elected Township Assessor of Evanston Township for a full four
year term.

SECTION 3: That the foregoing election was duly called
and held in all respects as provided by law
and as provided in the ordinance calling for said election, and..by
• the publication of notice as aforesaid; that ballots were furnished
in sufficient numbers at all times during said election, and that
the ballots used were in all respects as required by law; that the
Judges of said election were duly qualified and gave oath of office
and did conduct said election as required by law, and that the
returns of said election have been filed with the Town Clerk of
the Township of Evanston and have been examined by the Town Can-
vassing Committee.
