HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS-1975-053-R-75Resoluti-on 53-R-75 WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council, with the passage of City Reso- lution 11-R-75, dial approve an application for Community Develop- ment Block Grant entitlement funds and did direct the City Mdnager to file said application with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and WHEREAS, the City's application was approved on June 4, 1975, by said U.S. Department, and WHEREAS, Section 570.305, Subpart D, Chapter V of Title 24 CFR (Community Development Block Grant Regulations) states that a grant recipient can amend its application anytime during the pro- gram year, and WHEREAS, the Child Care -Center rehabilitation and the Larimer Park development activities as described in the City's Community De- velopment program will require additional funds if they are to be • completed this program year, and WHEREAS, the cost of several Community Development activities can be reduced by reassessing the money needed to finance them based on the remaining length of the program year: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Evanston hereby approves the Revised Community Development Block Grant Program and Budget which are attached.
