HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS-1976-023-R-76F Resolution 23-R-76 WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council, with the passage of City Resolution 11-R-75, did approve a first year application for Community Development Block Grant en- titlement funds and did direct the City Manager to file said application with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and WHEREAS, the City's application was approved on June 4, 1975, by said U.S. De- partment, and WHEREAS, Section 570.305, Subpart D, Chapter V of Title 24 CFR (Community De- velopment Block Grant Regulations) states that a grant recipient can amend its application anytime during the program year, and WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has received a funding request from the Evanston Committee for Community Coordinated Child Care which would re- quire that the City's application be amended, has notified the public of said request, and has set aside a meeting to hear public opinion on said request ac- cording to the City's Community Development Citizen Participation Plan, and WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has approved said request for a $2500 grant to complete the rehabilitation of the Child Care Center's Coachhouse at 1840 Asbury Avenue; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Evanston hereby approves the Revised 1975 Community Development Block Grant Program and Budget which are attached, increasing the Coachhouse Rehabilitation account by $2500 and reducing the Unspecified Local Option account by $1500 and the Code Enforcement account by $1060, `. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Evanston directs the City Manager to amend the City's October 21, 1975, Agreement with the Evanston Committee for Community Coordinated Child Care to reflect the approved budget change.
