WHEREAS, the CITY OF EVANSTON has certain liens that are unpaid and defaulted special assessments under Warrant #1207 against the following described real estate situated in the City of Evanston, County of Cook and State of Illinois, to -wit: Lot 16 in Engel's Addition to Evanston, Section 250 Township 41 N., Range 13, East of that Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois, and WHEREAS, it appears that instalments #1 to #10 inclusive of said Warrant #1207 are unpaid, which principal installments total $76.90 exclusive of interest and penalties; and WHEREAS, said real estate hereinabove described is • vacant and the record of title is in the name of MRS. ND That: 1. The Board of Directors of the Citizens Civic Candttes does hereby vigorously oppose professional football games in Dyche Stadium, for the following major reasons among others; 1. Professional commercialised football on Sunday is in r; W, violation of the historic feeling in Evanston against commercial �• a and business activities on Sundays. 2. Professional games in Dyche Stadium would be in direct and open violation of the limited non -conforming use now held by Northwestern University for university and civic events in the Stadium. 3. The adding of 15:000-20,000 extra cars on Sunday to the streets of Evanston and to Northwestern's 2,400 car parking lot at Dyche Stadium would create a dangerous and annoying situation for Evanston's 76,000 residents. 4. The clogging of Evanston's streets with traffic and P parking, and the influx of certain undesirable activities, would have a detrimental effect on the real estate values and iWadr Evanston's reputation as a city of homes and- a center of family living. 5.
