Upon the occasion of t, e
death of
JOHN D . ANDERISF.H
WHEREAS, JOHN D. ANDERSEN,, departed this life on
January 24, 1962; and
WHEREAS, JOHN D. ANDERSEN was a member of the City
Council, representing the First hard from April 5, 1955 until
his resignation on August 9, 1957g serving on the Finance and
Parking and Traffic Committees, and at the time of his death
was Vice President and Comptroller of Marshall field and
Comapanyt and
WHEREAS, Evanston citizens are aware of his interest
In serving the citizens of his Ward, as well as the citizens
• Dt the entire City, in his corlcribut-lona particularly to
financial matters involving the City, giving most liberally
of his time, energy and ability; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the
City of Evanston to pay tribute to JOHN 1). ANDERSEN:
NOW THEREFORE, BE 3T RESOLVED by the members of the
City Council of the City of Evanston, or behalf of o°O:; selv0s,
the Mayor, the City Manaqer, the officials as well as the
citizens of this con-nunity, we express profound regret 'ijpon
the occasion of the untimely death of JOHN G. ANDERSEN and
tender to the bereaved members of his am 3 y our heart -felt
Sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be dada
a part of the permanent record: of the city and that a
suitable copy thereof, signod by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk be sent to the members of his bereaved family.
