In response. Mr. Klaiber. District 65. indicated that he would pursue a directive for purchasing from local ►endors under the S I0 thousand ceiling. Mr. Peach added that Mr. Pemmn and be would make a presentation March 28, in follow up with the Klaiber meeting, with all members of District 65's Finance Committee as well as other Board members. Additionally, District 65 was asked to implement a full-blown policy for such a purchasing process. The District agreed to implement such a policy. District 65 was also urged to become more involved in the economic development decisions of Evanston given the fact that property taxes impact District revenue.
