HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1994-035-O-94• • 3/18/94 35-0-94 AN ORDINANCE Map Amendment to Rezone 1101 Dodge Avenue from C1 Commercial to R4 General Residential WHEREAS, the Evanston Plan Commission held a public hearing on March 9, 1994 in case no. ZPC 93-8(M) pursuant to proper notice and in accordance with the procedures in section 6-3-4-5 of the Zoning Ordinance upon the petition of Thomas Oberdieck, as agent of Karen Eisenstein and Marshall Kolodenko, owners of 1101 Dodge Avenue, ("subject property") to amend the Zoning Map to reclassify the subject property from a C1 Commercial to a R4 General Residence District; and • WHEREAS, the Plan Commission heard testimony from the petitioner, no objections being filed; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission made findings of fact and recommended approval of the zoning map amendment, NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois: SECTION 1: That the petition of Thomas Oberdieck, as agent of Karen Eisenstein and Marshall Kolodenko, owners of 1101 Dodge Avenue, is hereby granted and the subject property, legally described as follows, is rezoned from C1 Commercial to R4 General Residential-, and --the--Zoning-Map hereby -amended. 1 35-0-94 "LOT 7 AND LOT 8 IN BLOCK 9 IN CHASE AND PITNER'S ADDITION • TO EVANSTON, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 24, AND THE SOUTH 1/2 OF THE • SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 (EXCEPT THE NORTH 7 1/2 FT) OF SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 13, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS (IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 24). SECTION 2: The City Council adopts the findings of fact made by the Plan Commission and further determines that said findings are consistent with the standards for Zoning Map amendments set forth in section 6-3-4-5 of the Zoning Ordinance. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
