HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1997-033-O-97• February 27, 1997 33-0-97 AN ORDINANCE Granting a Special Use for a Multiple -Family Dwelling at 1834-40 Ridge Avenue WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals ("ZBA") held a public hearing on February 18, 1997 pursuant to proper notice in case no. ZBA 97-5-SU(R), wherein the applicant, Edward Noonan and Associates, Ltd., contract purchaser, sought a special use to permit establishment of a multiple -family dwelling at 1834-40 Ridge Avenue, located in an 01, Office District; and is WHEREAS; based upon the record, the ZBA made findings that the special use standards in section 6-3-5-10 of the Zoning Ordinance were met and recommended that the City Council grant the aforesaid special use; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That based upon the record before the ZBA and the ZBA's findings, all of which are hereby adopted, the City Council grants the aforesaid special use on property legally described in Attachment 1, made a part hereof. SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. E 33-0-97 SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
