Home My WebLink AboutORDINANCES-2009-090-O-09Effective November 13, 2009 90-0-09 9/3/2009 . 9 AN ORDINANCE Amending Title 10, "Motor Vehicles and Traffic," Chapter 11, i°Traffic Schedules," Section 12: "Schedule XII; Parking Meter Zones," (A), (E) and (F) NOW BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That Section 10: "Schedule XII; Parking Meter Zones," of the Evanston City Code of 1979, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: 10-11-12: SCHEDULE XII; PARKING METER ZONES: In accordance with section 10-5-1 of this title, parking meters having the following rates, • time limits, and hours of operation are to be installed on the following streets or portions of streets or parking lots described below. Meter rates, maximum parking time limits, and hours of operation are to be in effect on all days except Sundays, New Year's Day, the official Monday observance of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. SECTION 3: That if any provision of this ordinance 90-0-09 or application thereof to any person or circumstance is held unconstitutional or otherwise invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Ordinance 90-0-09 that can be given effect without the invalid application or provision, and each invalid application of this Ordinance is severable. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance 90-0-09 shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
