AN ORDINANCE }
Amending Chapter 29 of the Code of the City of Evanston,
• 1957, As Amended

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY,

ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 29 of the Code of the City of Evanston, 1957,

i' as amended, be and hereby is further amended by adding thereto
Section 29-67 which shall read as follows:
"Section 29-67. Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages on Public Property -
Prohibited at Certain Times. i
It shall be unlawful for any person to consume, possess, or have
alcoholic liquor except in the original container with seal unbroken,
upon public property within the city after the hour of 8:00 P.M. and
before the hour of 6:00 A.M."
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.
