AN ORDINANCE
Authorizing The Sale Of
Automotive Equipment, Used
Tools, Steel "I" Beams
WHEREAS, the City of Evanston is desirous of disposing of certain
property consisting of thirty-four (34) units of automotive equipment, five
(5) used tools, and two (2) Steel "I" Beams; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Evanston finds that the
retention of such -personalty is no longer required, useful, or in the best in-
terests of the City:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT URDAIiVEU BY THE CITY COUfVCIL OF THE CITY OF

for sale to the highest bidder by sealed bid submitted to the office of the
City Manager. The City Manager shall have the right to reject any and all
bids submitted if he finds that acceptance of any bid would be contrary to the
best interests of the City. The City Manager is further directed to cause
notice of the sale of such personalty to be published in the newspaper of gen-
eral circulation, at least once not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the
acceptance of such bids.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in the
manner provided by law.
