Cyrus and Fred Pearson was presented to the Zoning Amendment Committee to rezone certain property; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Evanston Zoning Amendment Committee on August 4, 1976 and September 2, 1976, pursuant to notice published in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Evanston Zoning Amendment Committee rendered a report under date of September 2, 1976.recommending a change in the zoning of the said property: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF • EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Evanston adopted November 21, 1960, as amended, be and hereby is further l amended by the reclassification from M3 Manufacturing District to C3 Commercial':. District of the following described property to wit: Lots 4, 5, 17, 18, and 85 of J. B. Adams addition to Evanston, a Subdivision of that part of the South half of the North half of the Southeast quarter of Section 19, Township 41 North, I Range 14., lying West of the center of Chicago Avenue, and also of the East 33 feet in width of the South half of the South half of the North half of the Southwest quarter of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County Illinois; commonly known as 620 Madison Street, 4 619 to 625 Madison Street and 747 to 755 Custer Avenue, all in the City of Evanston, Illinois. SECTION 2: That the Official District Map of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Evanston, as amended, shall be further amended • in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. n U • C, 86-0-76 -2- 0 SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
