AN ORDINANCE
MAKING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS TO DEFRAY
CERTAIN NECESSARY EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES
OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1977,
AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1977

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the sums set out below, or so much
thereof as may be authorized by law, be and
the same are hereby supplementally appropriated to pay all necessary expenses
and liabilities of the 1977 Revenue Sharing Program of the City of Evanston,
Cook County, Illinois, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1977 and
ending December 31, 1977. Such supplemental appropriations and transfers
are hereby made for the following objects and purposes:
SECTION 2: That there be supplementally appropriated
from the Federal General Revenue Sharing Fund:

Purchase mini computer and software for book circulation and

Subsidy to City of Evanston Mass Transit Fund for elderly
taxicab subsidy program and for handicapped transit
program
TRANSFER TO THE WATER FUND:
Allocation to existing program to inspect, improve and
rehabilitate existing sewer system

SECTION 3: The appropriation made for any purpose shall be
regarded as maximum amounts to be expended and
transferred and shall not be construed to be commitments, agreements, obliga-
tions or liabilities of the City of Evanston, each expenditure being subject
to further approval as to individual expenditure of any portion thereof by the
City Council.
SECTION 4: In the event any court of competent jurisdic-
tion should find any item, provision or section
of this ordinance invalid, such finding shall not affect the remaining portions,
items, provisions or sections of this ordinance.
SECTION 5: The City Clerk is duly directed to publish this
ordinance in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval,
and publication in the manner provided by law.
