(owner) and Aparacor, Inc., formerly known as Queen's 14ay to Fashion„ i Inc., (contract purchaser) for a variation from the use regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance adopted November 21, 1960 as they apply to the pro- perty located at 2500 Crawford Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, located in a B1 Business District and an R5 General Residence District, said public hearing i' having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof as provided If by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such relief be. granted: i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: ` i SECTION l: That the application of Harper & Rote, Publishers, Inc. ii (owner) and Aparacor, Inc., formerly known as Queen's Way to Fashion, Inc., (contract purchaser) for a variation from the use regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance to permit use of the existing warehouse facilities as shown on the attached drawing, dated June 28, 1976 and initialed by Planning and Development Committee Chairman Jans, for the storage and shipping of wearing apparel on the property located at 2500 Crawford Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, ,. and legally described as: a ' Lots 1 to 21, inclusive, and Lots 30 to 32 inclusive and Lot 34 (except the East 10 feet of said Lots 1 and 34, taken for Crawford Avenue) in Highlands Terminal, being a subdivision -in the North East Fractional 1/4 of Fractional Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 13 East of the Third. Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois 62-0-76 • ` ALSO ` All of the vacated 20 foot public alley running in an East and West direction lying north and adjoining Lots 1 to 21 aforesaid, inclusive, and South of and adjoining Lot 34 aforesaid, which lies East of the Northwesterly line of Lot 34, aforesaid, extended Southwesterly to the Northwesterly line of Lot 20, a foresaid, and lying West of the West lines extended of the East 10 feet of Lots 1 and 34 aforesaid. s ALSO ! And all of the Northwesterly 1/2 of the vacated 20 foot public alley " running -in a Northeasterly and Southwesterly direction lying South- easterly of and adjoining Lots 30 to 32 aforesaid, inclusive, and all of that part of the Southeasterly 1/2 of said vacated public alley ly-ina Northeasterly of the Southwesterly line of Lot 30 aforesaid, extended Southeasterly and Northwesterly of and adjoining Lot 34, aforesaid. re ALSO I Lots 3 to 24 inclusive, in Highlands Terminal first addition, being a subdivision of Lot 1 (except the East 25 feet) in Ketter and Everts subdivision of part of the North East fractional 1/4 of fractional • Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 13 East of the Third Principal Meridian, together with Lot 33 in Highlands Terminal aforesaid. ALSO ` All that part of the Northwesterly 1/2 of the vacated 20 foot public !; alley running in a Northeasterly and Southwesterly direction lying Southeastely of and adjoining Lots 7 to 24 in Highlands Terminal first addition, aforesaid, ALSO Lot 35 in the resubdivision of Lots 25 to 34 (except the East 10 feet dedicated for Crawford Avenue) together with Lot 35 and vacated alley between Lots 25 to 34 and Lot 35 in Highlands Terminal first addition, aforesaid. The Southeasterly 1/2 of the vacated 20 foot public alley running in a Northeasterly and Southwesterly direction lying Northwesterly of and adjoining the Northwesterly line of Lot 35 aforesaid, and said line extended Northeasterly and all that part of the vacated public alley lying North of and adjoining the North line of Lot 35 aforesaid and Southeasterly of the Northwesterly line of said Lot 35 extended Northwesterly, both of said parts lying West of the East line of said Lot 35, extended North, all as vacated by an ordinance recorded January 10, 1957 as Document 16798977, all in the City of Evanston, Cook County, 0 Illinois. • • • 62-0-76 -J- be and hereby is granted subject to compliance with all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable laws, and the following condition: that any increase in parking requirements due to changes in use shall be met, in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals. + ;3 SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits is hereby ordered i; and directed to grant such permits as shall be required to effectuate the provisions of this ordinance.
