HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1977-031-O-772/25/77 G Q 31-�0-77 AN ORDINANCE Granting A Variation And Special Use Permit For The Property At 620 Madison WHEREAS., on January 18, 1977 and February 15, 1977 the Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing upon the application of the Reba Place Church for a variation from the off street parking requirements of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance adopted November 21, 1960 and for a special use permit to conduct alterations of certain premises and to establish a church use thereon, each application pertaining to'the property located at 620 Madison Street, Evanston, Illinois; in C3 Commerical District, said public hearing having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication thereof as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such relief and permit be granted: NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT ;ORDAINED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: 'That the application of the Reba Place Church for a special use permit and a vari-; ation from the off-street parking requirements of the Evanston "Zoning Ordinance to permit the alteration and establishment of a church upon the premises coc,:noiily knov,,,n _:s .620 Madison Street, Evanston,. Adam's Addition to Evanston in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Merid- ian in Cook County, Illinois, do hereby covenant, warrant and agree with the CITY OF EVANSTON, Cook County, Illinois that the church to be established upon the premises aforesaid shall in its main assembly hall or auditorium be limited to.a seating capacity not in excess of 780 seats un- less and until additional off-street parking facilities are pro- vided by the undersigned in accordance with the intent of Ordinance 31-0-77 adopted March 14 1977 by the City Council of the City of Evanston..
