HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1976-031-O-763-18-76 31-0-76 AN ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance 19-0-71 as it Relates to Plan Review Fees and to Establish a Fee for Zoning Analysis BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That ordinance 19-0-71, an ordinance establishing fees for permits, licenses, and certificates relating to structures and mechanical equipment within the City, be amended by amending subsection 19 thereof to read as follows: 99. Zoning and Plan Examination Fees. The fees for Zoning Analysis and Plan Examination shall be computed as follows: a) Zoning Analysis: Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each analysis a issued pursuant to a 'Request for Zoning Analysis', provided, however, i that the Director of Inspections and Permits may waive the fee herein obtaining upon a showing of municipal interest by the applicant. I b) Preliminary Plan Review (Before Application for Permit): For buildings and structures having an estimated construction value in I I excess of Ten Thousand dollars ($10,000), a fee of Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall apply to each separately dated submission. c Plan Examination: Fees hereby established shall not apply to plan reviews to be conducted by agencies other than the Department of Inspections and Permits when such review is recommended by the ;. Director. i) Residential: Ten dollars ($10) plus Two dollars ($2.00) for each habitable unit in excess of one. ii) Business and Commercial, Industrial and Institutional: Ten dollars ($10) per Fifty Thousand dollars ($50,000) of estimated construction value or portion thereof. • d) Re-examination of Plans (After Permit Issuance): Revised working drawings, shop drawings, equipment submissions and other design changes or variations from original plans upon which permits have issued, for buildings or structures having an estimated construction value in excess of Ten Thousand dollars ($10,000), a fee of Twenty-five ($25.00) • L_J • 31-0-76 -2- shall apply to each separately dated submission." SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after i_ts passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law. SECTION 3: All ordinances or -parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. ij !
